Medical & Educational

It has to be said that some children are not the most hygienic of individuals. For instance, having gone to the toilet, many children will not even bother to wash their hands. This may not only result in health problems for the individual but also others in the school that the child will probably come into contact with.

So, the importance of good hygiene measures in the school cannot be emphasised enough as, by following good practises within a school environment, it will help reduce the possibility of a significant amount of harmful bacteria appearing. You will never completely remove all bacteria but if a school focuses the childrens’ minds on suitable hygiene practises it will be a great help to the community as a whole.

The school can help play a part in meeting the medical and educational needs of children by taking time out to explain how important good hygiene is in school and detail some of the health issues that can arise there. For instance, sickness and diarrhoea can quickly spread in the classroom resulting in long absences from school thus effecting schoolwork
However, unfortunately children will end up taking their viruses out of the school gate into the family home and wider community resulting in the illness spreading further afield. Not only does this result in many more people becoming ill but it also puts increased pressure on our GP surgeries and hospitals.

It is important that schools are specially cleaned periodically by a company such as ours as our trained staff will ensure that a thorough clean is carried out to hopefully reduce the possibility of too many hygiene related illnesses occurring. We cover the whole of the United Kingdom so feel free to get in touch with us at your convenience.
